We are located in a romantic oval valley surrounded by meadows, forests and a amazing unique view onto Makek Kochna mountain (2540m). A quiet and sunny geographical position offers our guests great relaxation and rest. We also enjoy sub-alpine climate and the air is clean and rich of Ozone. Our excellent position enables you perfect access to the pearls of our valley, as there are for example the highest waterfall in Slovenia, the waterfall Chedca. The sandbanks under Makek Kochna are covered by carpets of mountain flowers during spring and summer time, and so are the Rjavca and Veliki Vrh mountains and the area around the beautiful Czech hut.
The participants of the popular international painting workshop visit us every year too. They come here from all over the world and find our place highly stimulating and inspiring.
All around our home there are many paths where you can go for a walk or for a tour higher up to the tempting hills and mountains. If you do not appreciate walking much, we will be happy to saddle a horse from our stable on your request. In that way, you can enjoy our valley from a different perspective.
The centre of our village (with less than 700 inhabitants) is only 10 minutes away by foot. There are also a post office, shops, indoor & outdoor climbing wall, a tennis court, a petrol station and basketball and handball grounds available for you.
