We invite you to visit one of the oldest and highest-altitude Slovenian tourist farms and discover its rich architectural and cultural tradition. Treat yourself and your family a healthy and a somewhat different holiday, which will long be remembered.
High-altitude Makek organic farm has a rich cultural tradition of it's ancestors who cultivated this area among the first settlers in Jezersko Valley. In the tradition handed down from generation to generation, is also a way of life and thinking of our generation.
In accordance with its natural resources, traditions and home life supervision is our farm a:

1. Biological tourist farm, in a true bio-environment, which, among the first, acquired the Eco-certificate in the year 2000, and is systematically supervised. We do not use pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and genetically modified and poison-treated seeds, which are used in today's world agricultural production. Even animals that live on the farm are not fed with industrial fodder, but they eat exclusively mountain grass and a smaller proportion of whole meal cereals. Most of their lives our animals are kept outdoors. Only in the coldest winter days they find shelter in a warm home barn.

2. Mountain tourist farm in a peaceful environment and unscathed nature, on an altitude of 950 m, in a secluded position, surrounded by green meadows and forests, high Alps, and fresh and clean mountain air with proven curative effect on the respiratory system and eyes.

3. Farm friendly to children and families in a completely sealed and non-traffic position with a large children's playground in the orchard under the apple trees, family games, books and painting books and a colorful and creative rural environment. Kitties and bunnies also await your petting.

4. Farm for a healthy lifestyle for all who are aware of the motto of a healthy lifestyle and all those who would like to become aware. Although Jezersko is a modest alpine village, medicinal properties of mountain climate and unspoiled nature of the farm offer you an environment, in which you will feel good. 5. Horse riding farm with 10 horses (Thorougbred, Arab, Lippiza and Prosavec horses) Treckings to mountain pastures, adventure rides in nature for experienced horse riders, riding arena with panorama view 20x40m (under construction until 1.7.2005).
